Welcome to Mini Business, an application developed and owned by Lilas Solutions SpA (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By using Mini Business, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please discontinue using the application.

  • Purpose: These Terms outline the rules and responsibilities of users when using Mini Business.

2. User Eligibility

Mini Business is intended for individuals who own or manage a business and can benefit from its functionalities. While there are no specific age restrictions, users are expected to have the capacity to enter into agreements and use the app responsibly.

3. Data Collection and Usage

Data Collected

Mini Business stores user-input business data (sales, purchases, payments, delivery dates, client/supplier contacts) and account identifiers (email). AI document scanning, when used, processes uploaded images/PDFs to extract structured data; processing is handled by trusted providers as described in the Privacy Policy.

Data Storage

  • Local Files: Data is stored on the user’s device for offline use.
  • Cloud Database: For online features, data is stored securely in a private database to enable sync and multi-device access.

Data Usage

Data is used to operate the app, provide summaries and reports, enable sync, enforce plan limits, and (when enabled) process AI document scans.

Data Sharing

We do not sell user data. Limited sharing with service providers occurs only to operate features (e.g., AI processing); see the Privacy Policy for details.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

By using Mini Business, you agree to:

  • Input accurate and lawful data.
  • Use the app only for lawful purposes related to business management.

Prohibited activities include:

  • Reverse engineering or modifying the app.
  • Using the app for unlawful activities.
  • Sharing or redistributing access to the app without authorization.

5. License and Ownership

Usage License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Mini Business, subject to your compliance with these Terms.

Ownership

All intellectual property rights in Mini Business, including but not limited to trademarks, content, and technology, remain the sole property of Lilas Solutions SpA.

6. Plans and Subscriptions

  • Basic (free): 1 owned business, offline-only, no cloud sync, no AI document scanning, no team invitations. You may join Pro businesses as a member.
  • Pro (paid): Up to 3 owned businesses, cloud sync and multi-device access, unlimited team invitations, AI document scanning (100 scans per business per month).
  • Ownership vs membership: Plan limits apply to owned businesses. Membership in other businesses is not limited. If a Pro subscription lapses, owned businesses revert to Basic capabilities until the subscription is restored.
  • Pricing and payment: Pro is sold as a subscription via app stores. Pricing, taxes, and currency are shown at purchase and may vary by region. We may offer promotional or trial periods as indicated in the store at purchase time.

7. Billing, Renewal, and Cancellation

  • Subscriptions are billed through the platform where you purchase (e.g., App Store, Google Play). Platform terms govern billing, taxes, and refunds.
  • Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime in your store account settings; access continues through the paid period.
  • Downgrades or lapses convert owned businesses to Basic features; sync and AI features stop until Pro is restored.

8. AI Features and Quotas

  • AI document scanning is available on Pro only and is subject to a monthly quota of 100 scans per business. Usage is tracked to enforce this limit.
  • Supported inputs include images (JPEG/PNG) and PDFs for extracting sales or purchase data. Always review extracted results before saving; AI output may contain errors.

9. Sync, Multi-Device Use, and Availability

  • Basic operates offline and does not sync to the cloud. Pro enables cloud sync and multi-device access.
  • Sync depends on network availability; delays or temporary unavailability may occur. Changing active business triggers data reload and sync for that business.
  • In case of conflicting edits, the app may require you to choose between your version and the server version.

10. Team Members and Invitations

  • Team invitations are available on Pro. Business owners manage invitations and member removal.
  • Invitation codes may expire and can be limited to a specific email. Members can add/edit business data as permitted by the app.

11. Limitation of Liability

We provide Mini Business “as is” and disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose. Lilas Solutions SpA shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the app.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to Mini Business if you violate these Terms or engage in unauthorized use of the app. Termination does not waive any rights or remedies available to us under applicable law.

13. Modifications to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be communicated through the application. Continued use of the app after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Chile. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Chile.
